A number of women have made significant contributions to Canada. Their impact has contributed to the development of Canada. This assignment will help you find background information and the historical significance of one Canadian woman or a group of women.

3. Significance Paragraph ___/10 marks
Type up a paragraph describing the significance of this woman. Describe why this person significant to Canadian history or to the people of Canada. Explain the importance. Who has been influenced or inspired by this person? Why? Explain.

4. Background Paragraphs ___/30 marks
Type up a three to five paragraphs that include background and historical information about this woman. Provide significant dates, accomplishments and statistics. Answer Who? What? Where? and When?

5. Photographs ___/5 marks
Include two or three photographs of this woman. In your bibliography show the source of where you obtained the photographs.

6. Bibliography ___/10 marks
Provide a bibliography listing all of the books, web sites and videos you used. Follow the green "Bibliography Package" MLA guidelines given in class.

7. Work Log ___/20 marks
Keep a current Work Log of all the time you spend on this project.
